Obituary
William F. Shepley, age 64 of Freeport, IL, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, December 1, 2018. He was born July 20, 1954; the son of the late Orin and Marda (Welty) Shepley. He was a 1972 graduate of Freeport High School. William married Pamela Gale on November 16, 1974.
He was a member of Embury Methodist Church of Freeport. He was also a member of ABATE of Freeport. William loved his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He also enjoyed camping and fishing with his kids and grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Pam Shepley of Freeport; daughters, Angela (Travis) Voss of Pearl City, IL, Krista Shepley of Freeport, and Tiffany Shepley of Freeport; grandchildren, Jordan & Kyleah Schnitzler, Amiah Shepley, Jaleia & Javon Dye, and Cade & Elley Voss; and sister, LeAnn (Jack) Schweeneker of Orangeville, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandsons, Logan & Jakob Voss.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 4 th at 11:00 a.m. at Walker Mortuary in Freeport, Rev. Bill Blomberg presiding. There will be a visitation before the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. A memorial fund has been established in his name.Services
