William Ray Angle, 90, of Dakota, died Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Liberty Village, in Freeport.
Born June 10, 1925 in Dakota he was the son of William Ray and Helen (Swanzey) Angle Sr. He married Dolores Law in February 10, 1951 and she died December 28, 2005. He married Carolyn Heck McKenna September 1, 2007 and she died February 5, 2013.
He was a proud US Navy Airman WWII veteran.
Bill was a lifetime Stephenson County farmer.
His memberships included Community Presbyterian Church in Dakota, VFW, and Stephenson County Farm Bureau.
Surviving are his son, Ed Angle of Freeport; his sister, Dorothy Dornick of Galva; his granddaughters, Amanda Angle of Omaha, Nebraska and Calla Angle of Madison, Wisconsin; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wives; and son, John Angle.
Visitation will be 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Dakota. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m.
Interment will be in Cedarville Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for Community Presbyterian Church in Dakota.
