John F. Bogardus, 75, of Freeport, died Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born May 19, 1933 in Indianapolis, Indiana he was the son of Hubert and Marion (Fisher) Bogardus.
John was a retired Industrial Engineer.
Surviving are his daughters, Julie Ammon of Dixon and Shari (David) Krause of Jefferson, Ohio; 3 grandchildren, Alexis and Amanda, Krause, and Abigayle Ammon; his aunt, Kay Arola of Freeport
He was preceded in death by his parents; and son in-law, Dean Ammon.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Interment of his cremated remains will be in the Silent Hill Cemetery in McConnell.
Private family services will be held.
