Freeport-Glenn A. Randall, 77, of Freeport, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford.
Born June 13, 1930 in Ramsey, Illinois he was the son of Ralph and Irene (Wollerman) Randall. He married Barbara Austin August 20, 1948.
Glenn was a local farmer who worked for the IC Railroad for 39 years.
He was a member of Cedarville Baptist Church.
He enjoyed his farm and working in the garden.
Surviving is his wife, Barbara of Freeport; two daughters, Candice (Ken Wallace) Horton of Fort Worth, Texas and Cristel Green of Waupaca, Wisconsin; four sons, Steven Randall of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Kevin (Jan) Randall of Rockford, Randy Randall of Maricopa, Arizona, and Brian (Marlene) Randall of Cedarville; one sister, Jewel (Reed) England of Orlando, Florida; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, Orville Hoyle.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial service will be Saturday 10:30 a.m. at Cedarville Baptist Church with Reverend Gene McIntosh officiating.
There will be no visitation
